Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of our legacy product, including its features and architecture. Your primary goal will be to develop a strategic roadmap that revitalizes the product and aligns with our business objectives. You will work closely with an Engineering Manager to ensure that the technical solutions support the product vision and strategy. 

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

Product Analysis and Understanding
o    Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the legacy product, including its current features, user experience, and technical architecture. 
o    Gather insights from users, stakeholders, and internal teams to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. 

Strategic Roadmap Development
o    Develop a strategic roadmap to rebuild the product and outline the future direction, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands. 
o    Prioritize features and enhancements based on user impact, business value, and technical feasibility. 

Collaboration with Engineering
o    Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure that technical solutions align with the product strategy and roadmap. 
o    Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between product and engineering teams to drive successful implementation. 

Stakeholder Engagement
o    Communication the product vision, strategy and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization with special consideration to the business owners. 
o    Building consensus and manage expectations around product priorities and timelines. 

Performance Monitoring and Iteration
o    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future decisions.
o    Use data-driven insights to iterate on the product and enhance user satisfaction. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. 
•    5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably with experience in managing legacy products. 
•    Proven track record of developing and executing successful product roadmaps and strategies. 
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. 
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams. 
•    Passion for technology and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. 
•    Domain knowledge of derivatives products and platforms is a plus.
