The Equities Group is responsible for two of SGX's core revenue generating businesses: cash equities and equity derivatives. Asian equities are integral to capital formation for the most dynamic economic region in the world. It is therefore critical to global investors seeking to manage Asian equity risk premium. Our Equities group serves their capital management and allocation needs through a suite of pan-Asian products and is constantly developing. To that end, the Equities group consists of teams that are accountable for various aspects of managing this suite of products, such as market microstructure design, product research and engineering, client engagement, and platform and data analytics.

Our Wholesale Markets & Platforms Group is responsible for bond listings, fixed income trading, foreign exchange (FX) and rates (IR). SGX Group is the leading venue for listing international bonds in Asia. In FX, we offer a gateway to the global FX ecosystem, anchored by the world's most liquid Asian FX futures exchange together with cutting-edge FX technology and workflow solutions for both the buy-side and sell-side, provided by BidFX and MaxxTrader respectively. SGX CurrencyNode, an FX electronic communication network (ECN), connects global participants anonymously to unique and deep OTC FX liquidity pools. Our efforts build towards a fully-integrated and scalable FX platform that will become a global one-stop venue for international FX futures and OTC participants. In addition, the business also has oversight of the Energy Market Company (EMC) which operates Singapore's wholesale electricity market.

The Commodities Group is a market leader in providing global access to commodity markets that underpin industrialization in Asia. Asia's rapid growth has elevated its importance in the global economy. Industrial centers of gravity and global trade has shifted eastwards, establishing a new norm for the importance of commodity markets in Asia. The Commodities Group play a pivotal role in price discovery and benchmarking for both physical and paper markets in the virtual steel mill complex, international freight and the rubber trade. These industrial verticals are highly representative of Asia's importance in global trade and transport and is one of the fastest growing businesses in SGX.

Our Global Sales & Origination ("GSO") unit is our front line sales unit responsible for growing all our business lines. Comprising multi-asset sales coverage teams as well as specialist sales teams and operating from 10 sales offices around the world, GSO is instrumental in contributing to the development of the capital market in Singapore and is at the forefront of fund raising in both equity and debt markets. The sales teams grow our membership and client base across all product and business lines and manage the relationships of our top clients and partners, working closely with them for mutual growth and success.
