Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage SGX’s cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The individual will lead cloud projects, drive automation, and ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities will include

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with application teams to deliver resilient cloud services.
• Manage provisioning, networking, monitoring, and backup processes.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Maintain documentation and configuration standards.
• Support audits, security scans, and disaster recovery drills.
• Continuously assess and optimize cloud architecture.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay current with cloud and DevSecOps trends.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements include

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 8 years in cloud infrastructure, with a minimum 5 years hands-on in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Cloud migration experience is a plus.
• Proficient in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and deployment templates (YAML/JSON).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or managed services (EKS, GKE, AKS).
• Preferably with Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD/CKS), AWS/GCP/Azure certifications.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools and hybrid environments.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and budgets.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
