Job Summary

Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) is seeking an experienced and motivated communications professional to join the Media and Internal Communications team in the Marketing and Communications Unit. The successful candidate will contribute to the positioning of SGX Group as a trusted and international multi-asset exchange and play an important role in communicating our global relevance and influence to external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the communications lead in developing messaging, executing media engagements and profiling spokespeople across key business and corporate priorities including our Greater China outreach, sustainability and sustainable finance, and fixed income; as well as support communications efforts for our derivatives business. 
  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with local, regional and international media outlets to enhance SGX Group’s reputation and support its objectives.
  • Prepare communications materials such as news releases, presentations, speeches and other relevant content to convey SGX Group’s key messages.
  • Organise media interactions and events to support our communications goals.
  • Work closely with colleagues in our Marketing and Digital Communications, and Branding teams to deliver integrated communications for SGX Group.
  • Support issues management and work closely with internal stakeholders across functions to strengthen SGX Group’s resiliency as a key market infrastructure.
  • Monitor media trends and provide insights to inform communication strategies.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing corporate and financial communications, across a range of communication functions including media relations, issues management, executive profiling and integrated communications
  • Strong writing, verbal communications and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Self-starter who is able to prioritise, and manage responsibilities at strategic and operational levels
  • Strong sense of accountability, with the ability to deliver under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Resourceful and creative with a can-do attitude, able to generate and translate ideas for effective outcomes 
  • Attention to detail and committed to making a difference
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
