Job Summary

Exchange Operations (EXO) at Singapore Exchange is building a new capability to systematically convert operational knowledge into structured, reusable assets and embed them into intelligent workflows powered by enterprise AI. This shift requires moving beyond traditional process optimisation toward codifying institutional knowledge and enabling AI-driven execution at scale.

We are seeking high-potential individuals for the role of Associate / Senior Associate, Knowledge & Workflow Innovation to help drive this transformation. This is not a traditional operations role. It sits at the intersection of operations, data, and technology, and focuses on redefining how work is performed, rather than executing the work itself.

You will work closely with domain experts across trading, clearing, settlement, and depository operations to map workflows, codify knowledge, and design intelligent, agent-enabled operation systems that redefine how work is structured and executed.

Job Responsibilities

You will play a central role in transforming tacit operational knowledge into structured, executable systems.

• Knowledge Mapping & Structuring
  Analyse and document end-to-end operational workflows, including decision rules, inputs, outputs, and exception handling. Translate domain expertise into clearly defined “units of knowledge” that can be reused and scaled.
• Workflow Decomposition & Standardisation
  Break down complex operational processes into modular components such as tasks, rules, and decision points. Identify opportunities to standardise workflows across teams and reduce variability.
• AI Workflow & Agent Design
  Partner with business and technology teams to design AI-enabled workflows, including skills and multi-step process flows that can be executed by enterprise agents. Define logic, control points, and escalation paths.
• Continuous Process Innovation
  Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and manual dependencies in current processes, and redesign them for scalability, automation, and control. Drive improvements that enhance productivity and reduce operational risk.
• Knowledge Lifecycle Management
  Maintain and update knowledge assets as processes evolve. Ensure consistency of logic and standards across teams, and prevent fragmentation of workflows.
• Collaboration with Technology Teams
  Work closely with Technology to ensure workflows are properly integrated with enterprise systems, data sources, and agent orchestration platforms.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
• 2–5 years of experience for Senior Associate, in roles such as:
• Operations (exchange, banking, clearing, settlement)
• Process improvement / transformation
• Business analysis / product / project roles
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to break down complex processes into structured components
• Demonstrated ability to work across functions and manage ambiguity
• Interest in AI, workflow automation, or digital transformation (prior experience is advantageous but not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
