Senior Associate, Derivatives Clearing House

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and analytical A/ SA for the Clearing House within Derivatives Exchange Operations. This role is critical in accurate and timely clearing and settlement of derivatives products. They put into practice PFMI principles on credit and liquidity risk, margining, collateral management, and settlement finality. Its role is fundamental in mitigating systemic risk and ensuring market confidence 

Job Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and timely financial products clearing, settlement and collateral operations and project implementation. 

Proactively review and improve processes to ensure high standards of processing and risk management in daily operations and project implementation. 

Analyze and provide accurate recommendation to manager for timely decisions in a 24 hour operating environment, when underlying issues and solutions are not apparent. 

Take the lead and drive the completion of projects and initiatives to develop the derivatives products and platforms. 

Deepen the relationship with Members, and other external stakeholders. 

Support team manager and supervisors to build an effective and cohesive team contributing to SGX’s success. 

Job Requirements

Degree holder with minimum 1-4 years working experience in clearing & collateral rules and regulations. 

Strong understanding of Equities & FICC products & processes (both Exchange and OTC) 

Proven track record of accurate execution and an eye for details.  

Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AI Prompt Engineering  

Knowledge in VBA/ R/ Python language is a plus.
