Platform Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a self-driven and motivated candidate to join our team in the delivery, support and maintenance of business-critical systems. 

Job Responsibilities

• Working closely with stakeholders, including solution vendors and platform specialists to deliver changes into production.
• Ensuring compliance for all internal controls and standard operating procedures. This will involve fixing vulnerabilities, extracting evidence for audits and maintaining system hygiene.
• Performing application recovery, non-functional testing, application verification and monitoring.
• Identify break points, securities vulnerabilities, application anomalies and performing application troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a reputable university.
• Preferably with 1 year of working experience as System Analyst or IT Operations Analyst.
• Knowledge in Linux, Windows Operating System and FIX protocols is advantageous.
• Preferably with experience operating cloud systems with demonstrated competency to deploy applications, configure, perform monitoring and troubleshooting in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Ability to write shell/python/SQL or power shell scripts.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Operation and Production-first mindset.
• Ability to work on weekends and after office hours.
