Securities Engineering

Short overview of the team

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic intern to support automation, operational efficiency, and AI-driven initiatives in Securities Engineering (Trading, Clearing and Depository services). The candidate should possess a positive "can-do" attitude, be able to work independently with guidance and coaching, and have a strong interest in technology, automation, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Create scripts and tools using Python or other scripting languages.
• Support system monitoring, log analysis, and observability initiatives.
• Assist in AI and Generative AI proof-of-concepts, experiments, and productivity use cases.
• Analyze business and operational processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic programming (Java preferred) and scripting knowledge (Python preferred).
• Understanding of automation concepts and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take initiative.
• Able to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations.
• Basic understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
