Compliance
Brief Overview:
The LCC team is responsible for the SGX Group’s legal, compliance and corporate secretarial matters globally, and across all its subsidiaries and businesses, encompassing trading, clearing, settlement, depository, market data and connectivity, indices and benchmarks and other market infrastructure and technology platforms.
Learning Objectives:
- Gaining insight into the corporate governance of a listed company
- Exposure to day to day administration and operations of legal, compliance and corporate secretarial unit
- Exposure to financial sector regulation for exchanges, and the interaction between internal stakeholders needed to ensure compliance
Job Description:
- Assisting in the coordination of regulatory inspections
- Supporting the optimization of compliance processes and workflows and administrative tasks
- Helping to organise compliance-related events and engagements
- Assisting with general support on compliance matters across SGX Group
- Assisting with Level 1 reviews related to Data Loss Prevention, Staff Dealing, KYC/AML alerts
- Facilitating the preparation of compliance management reports and dashboards
- Contributing to ad-hoc compliance projects, including research, drafting and implementation support
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
- Prior exposure to Compliance, Risk and/or Legal functions preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Collaborative and able to work effectively across teams
