FX Client Services

Brief Overview:

The ASKFX Support Intern will assist the SGX FX support desk in managing client onboarding, troubleshooting, and operational support across SGX FX platforms including GUI, FIX API, and Excel plugins. This role offers hands-on exposure to institutional FX workflows, client-facing support, and backend configuration tasks.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding the financial market workflows.
  • Communication skills between liquidity providers and buy side clients.
  • Financial product knowledge and troubleshooting skills

 

Job Description:

  • Respond to client queries via ASKFX channels (email, phone, Teams) and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist in onboarding clients to SGX FX platforms including BidExcel, GUI, and FIX API.
  • Generate and distribute credentials, serial keys, and installation guides for client access.
  • Maintain and update support documentation including SOPs, escalation matrices, and configuration guides.
  • Track support tickets and follow up on resolution timelines.
  • Participate in internal meetings to review client feedback and support performance.
  • Support backend configuration tasks such as currency additions, venue mappings, and firewall requests

 

Knowledge and Skills requirements:

  • Undergraduate in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong interest in FX markets and client support operations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Excel, ticketing systems, coding and basic networking concepts is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
