Enterprise Financial Planning
Brief Overview:
Enterprise Financial Planning (EFP) supports management decision‑making through financial planning and analysis, performance tracking and cost management. Partnering closely with business units and senior stakeholders, EFP delivers actionable insights, monitors key drivers and supports strategic decisions.
Learning Objectives:
The selected intern will gain exposure to enterprise-wide financial planning and performance management, including financial analysis, forecasting, and process improvement and automation initiatives. This role also provides an opportunity to understand the key drivers of the exchange business.
Job Description:
- Forecasting: Supports the preparation of financial forecasts by gathering data, updating financial models and analysing trends
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management presentations
- Data Automation Projects: Support initiatives to build dashboards and automate data collation processes, enabling more efficient and self-service access to financial information
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
- Detail-oriented with a meticulous and systematic approach
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and draw meaningful insights
- Proficient in Excel (including advanced functions and VBA), PowerPoint, SQL and Python
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges
