Assistant Vice President, Equities - Securities, Research & FinLit

Job Summary

The Research team in the Equities unit is responsible for research content generation on the Singapore equities market, promote and distribute content to engage investors and market participants. This role will be a member of the research team and include a range of responsibilities ranging from pitching/promotion of the Singapore securities market, media engagement, profiling of companies, writing regular research reports, initiate ideas to grow the ecosystem and manage various stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate content/thought pieces and pitch Asia/Singapore/SGX, help shape and broadcast SGX's securities market
• Build partnerships and expand channels for international content/distribution related to the Singapore securities market
• Develop plans and execute to profile listed companies through education and events
• Experience in dealing with institutional and retail investors
• Work closely with buy-side/retail platforms/traders/media channels to evaluate their needs and generate curated content
• Manage internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes in a fast evolving space

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree / CFA or other finance related qualifications
• Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in related roles, eg. equity sales/research/journalist
• Analytical and well versed in local markets/equities, macro/multi asset,
• Knowledge in capital markets, investing and ESG (preferred)
• Resourceful, self-motivated 
• Strong stakeholder management, problem solving and multi-tasking competence
• Highly adaptable and able work independently to drive initiatives
• Team Player
