Job Summary
A lead with strong knowledge (products, regulations, systems, and processes) on listing & trading, clearing & settlement of financial products, securities corporate action processing, settlement, and custodial services and AML/KYC practices. Analytical thinker with creative mind-set and partners well with stakeholders. Supports team manager to meet the operational objectives of the function.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial products listing & trading operations / clearing & settlement / collateral operations / corporate action services and custodial services operations / market data operations and project implementation.
- Proactively review and conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, considering both operational and technological solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design new processes, ensure successful implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
- Take the lead and drive the completion of projects and initiatives to support development of securities products and platforms.
- Deepen the relationship with Members, and other external stakeholders.
- Support manager to build an effective and cohesive team contributing to SGX’s success.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with minimum 6 years working experience in listing & trading / clearing & collateral/ corporate action, custodial services, & depository / market data systems, rules and regulations, AML/KYC requirements.
- Experience in business process reengineering or process improvement roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other process improvement frameworks is preferred.
