Finance & Corporate Development
Our Finance & Corporate Development (FCD) unit is responsible for the entire spectrum of the finance and accounting function of SGX, including treasury and tax planning, the management and coordination of all management and financial reporting activities for the company including statutory reporting of the company's financial results. The unit oversees the management and implementation of investor relations programs, covering both institutional and retail shareholders of SGX. The unit also drives the corporate development agenda and develops our Indices business to seek greater commercial synergies.

- New projects such as new business investments, capital management, share buyback and accounting system enhancements. Business planning and analysis by providing insights to decision making process through analysis, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as management reporting.

- Financial reporting, accounting policies and advisory as well as regulatory reporting.
- Treasury and the management of money and financial risks in a business and development of long-term financial strategy and policies to support business objectives.
- SGX's investor relations strategy, so as to effectively communicate the company's corporate strategy and financial performance. Positioning and selling SGX Group as unique investment proposition among global exchanges to both sell-side and buy-side stakeholders.
- Developing investible index solutions that encompasses research, portfolio construction, backtesting, index methodology for financial product issuers. Underlying assets can include equities, equity futures, commodity futures and/or indices

Global Markets Division
The Global Markets Division is responsible for a suite of capital market products and services that help global clients navigate the fluctuating complexity of Asia with confidence. Our product franchise is multi asset, which includes from the stock market ("cash equities"), equities derivatives, commodities, FX and fixed income. Our services cover a full range of liquidity and risk management solutions that are internationally recognized as one of the best in the world.

Equities
The Equities Group, which is responsible for two of SGX's core revenue generating businesses: cash equities and equity derivatives. Asian equities are integral to capital formation for the most dynamic economic region in the world. It is therefore critical to global investors seeking to manage Asian equity risk premium. Our Equities group serves their capital management and allocation needs through a suite of pan-Asian products and is constantly developing. To that end, the Equities group consists of teams that are accountable for various aspects of managing this suite of products, such as market microstructure design, product research and engineering, client engagement, and platform and data analytics.
Commodities
The Commodities Group, which is a market leader in providing global access to commodity markets that underpin industrialization in Asia. Asia's rapid growth has elevated its importance in the global economy. Industrial centers of gravity and global trade has shifted eastwards, establishing a new norm for the importance of commodity markets in Asia. The Commodities Group play a pivotal role in price discovery and benchmarking for both physical and paper markets in the virtual steel mill complex, international freight and the rubber trade. These industrial verticals are highly representative of Asia's importance in global trade and transport and is one of the fastest growing businesses in SGX.
Wholesale Markets & Platforms
Our Wholesale Markets & Platforms Group, which is responsible for bond listings, fixed income trading, foreign exchange (FX) and rates (IR). SGX Group is the leading venue for listing international bonds in Asia. In FX, we offer a gateway to the global FX ecosystem, anchored by the world's most liquid Asian FX futures exchange together with cutting-edge FX technology and workflow solutions for both the buy-side and sell-side, provided by BidFX and MaxxTrader respectively. SGX CurrencyNode, an FX electronic communication network (ECN), connects global participants anonymously to unique and deep OTC FX liquidity pools. Our efforts build towards a fully-integrated and scalable FX platform that will become a global one-stop venue for international FX futures and OTC participants. In addition, the business also has oversight of the Energy Market Company (EMC) which operates Singapore's wholesale electricity market.
Enabler Functions "Exchange Platforms"
Exchange Platforms Group, which is responsible for the complete stack of our marketplace technology that connects global participants. These platforms are network ecosystems that enables real-time exchange of messages across the full trade lifecycle – data, connectivity, trading, clearing, settlement, and depository. The teams under Exchange Platform Group are organized according to the stages of the trade lifecycle because at every stage, there are communities of market participants, software vendors, data vendors, network service providers, data centre providers that require specialist knowledge to operate, while delivering innovations that powers the future of our business.

Global Sales & Origination
Our Global Sales & Origination (GSO) unit is responsible for strengthening SGX’s position as a global brand across both private and public markets and is instrumental in contributing to the development of the capital market in Singapore. As the front-line sales unit in SGX, our team of sales specialists also serves SGX clients with the full spectrum of SGX products and services across different asset class to achieve mutual growth and success.

Human Resources
The HR team is a strategic partner to SGX's leadership and is responsible for developing and executing a robust and holistic talent strategy to deliver SGX's vision and strategic priorities. Comprising four key functions: Business Partnering, Performance and Rewards, Learning and Talent Management, HR Operations and Technology, the team partners with external and internal stakeholders in developing and implementing a wide range of talent products, initiatives and solutions as well as promoting a positive work culture that values integrity, diversity, collaboration, communication while taking care of the well-being of our employees, to attract, retain, develop and engage talents to deliver SGX's performance and growth.

Operations and Technology
Our Operations and Technology unit is a strategic partner to SGX's leadership and is responsible for delivering fit for purpose solutions to grow SGX's businesses while strengthening our software development and innovation bench strength with a continued focus on resilience and optimization. The team partners with external and internal stakeholders in improving stability of our technology environment and build a stronger development and innovation capability to further our businesses.

- Software development of major Trading and Digital platforms.
- Management of SGX's usage of Cloud technologies to provide Platform Services and management of DevOps processes and tools.
- Designing, building and institutionalization of the core foundation for SGX cloud architecture as well as drive and delivery of green filed innovation initiatives.
- Cybersecurity, security design and engineering IT Policies, compliance, audit, management reporting and independent security assessment. Validating SGX security controls for both network and endpoints.
- Planning, management and production support of technology operations, IT Shared Infrastructure Shared Services and Shared Application Services and employee experience.

Regulation (RegCo)
Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Exchange (SGX) that undertakes all frontline regulatory functions on behalf of SGX and its regulated subsidiaries. It is committed to fostering trust in and supporting the continued development of SGX's markets.
SGX is also a Self-Regulatory Organisation. In addition to its for-profit commercial objectives as a listed company, SGX has its regulatory obligations and a public interest duty as a market regulator. The rigorous regulatory standards ensure that SGX satisfies its statutory obligations to operate fair, orderly and transparent markets and safe and efficient clearing houses.

- Regulatory listing policy and compliance with the listing rules and disclosure requirements in support of high standards of corporate governance and transparency.
- Reviews performed on applications to be listed on SGX mainboard and catalist board.

Risk Management

Our risk management unit covers the broad areas related to enterprise risk management, financial risk management (market, credit and liquidity risk), risk policy and analytics, and business continuity management. The MA will analyze emerging risks and engage with stakeholders such as regulators, industry bodies, and ecosystem partners to influence critical risk topics.
- Analytics, Model, Quantification and Validation – Drive sustainable development of cutting-edge digital solutions to enhance risk monitoring. The MA will lead the validation of risk models, ensuring their soundness and effectiveness. Key projects include model overhaul for ARTOO margining, day to intraday pricing, and the creation of dashboards for default management, empowering SGX Group to stay ahead of evolving risks.
- Enterprise Risk Management – Shape SGX Group's risk appetite, detect new risk, and reassesses existing ones. As a second line of defense, the MA will ensure governance, mitigation, and controls are robust across various operational risk areas, including technology, cyber security, business continuity, physical security, workplace safety, third-party risks and fraud.
