1) Marketing & Digital Engagement
Brief Overview:
Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) seeks to serve as the world’s most trusted and efficient international marketplace, operating equity, fixed income, currency and commodity markets to the highest regulatory standards. We are expanding our international presence and seek a highly motivated intern to join the Marketing & Communications team in promoting SGX Group in the dynamic global financial markets. The successful candidate will be in the Marketing & Digital Engagement team that manages the company's marketing activities and digital channels, providing strategic marketing and digital support for the company’s multiple business units and driving long-term brand growth.
Learning Objectives:
- How an omnichannel marketing campaign is conceptualised, planned and executed, and how campaign results are analysed across various markets
- Social media marketing, online reputation monitoring and content marketing
- Event management – physical, virtual and hybrid
- SGX Group’s suite of financial products and services
- Stakeholder management across SGX Group’s business units
- Multitasking and prioritisation skills
- Prepare select communications to/for Executive Management Committee (EMCO) members and gain exposure to senior management executives in course of work.

Job Description:
As an intern in the Marketing & Communications Unit, you will have the chance to work with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of marketing and communications in capital markets. You will work across various marketing and digital content development projects. From product launches to organising listing ceremonies, developing pitch-books to video content, drafting social media posts to penning marketing copy, you will not experience a dull day. Come prepared to roll up your sleeves and dive into the ‘real’ world! You are perfect for this role if you are passionate about marketing and communications in the financial industry and eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing and digital engagement.
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
- Self-motivated and sharp-witted; understands sense of urgency when it comes to deadlines
- Articulate and comfortable reading and writing English
- Comfortable working independently but also collaboratively with the wider M&C department
- Proficiency and experience in designing web banners, brochures, videos using Creative software
- Possess a ‘can-do’ attitude
2) Media & Internal Comms, Brand & Planning
Brief Overview:
Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) seeks to serve as the world’s most trusted and efficient international marketplace, operating equity, fixed income, currency and commodity markets to the highest regulatory standards. We are expanding our international presence and seek a highly motivated intern to join the Marketing & Communications team in promoting SGX Group in the dynamic global financial markets. The successful candidate will support 2 teams – Brand and Planning, Media and Internal Communications – and gain a holistic view of corporate reputation and brand management in a fast-paced and strong growth business environment.
Learning Objectives:
- Get a pulse on what’s happening in our industry globally through daily news and reputation monitoring in various media channels and prepare reports for senior management.
- Work with team to ideate and produce communication publicity materials (e.g. Videos, Press Releases, Speeches, Content planning and Social Posts ) for internal and external stakeholders.
- Gain hands-on experience for event planning and execution for different audiences (such as Market Open Ceremonies, Analyst Results Briefing, CSR, Media and Internal Staff events).
- Support the management of corporate brand assets, corporate gifts and brand reviews with stakeholders from other functions.
- Conduct market research such as industry trends, competitor analysis to assist with projects.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage a variety of projects to hone your multitasking and prioritisation skills

- Flexible with working before or after core office hours during events
- Motivated, operates with sense of urgency and demonstrates attention to detail
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in suite of Microsoft 365 Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Creative software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, MOVAVI) is a major advantage
